Shalom Ndiku

Consultant, Institute for Research and Policy Alternatives (IRPA)

Shalom Ndiku is a senior government relations, public policy and sustainable development adviser with nearly 15 years’ experience across Africa. He works at the intersection of government engagement, regulatory reform, public financing and institutional strategy, advising governments, executives and development partners on climate, education, food systems, public health, biodiversity and sustainable finance.

Most recently, he served as Director of Public Affairs at Food for Education, where he led government relations, policy, communications and international expansion, helping secure significant public co-financing for large-scale service delivery. Earlier, he led Africa-wide policy and government engagement at Conservation International and now advises governments and development partners on climate policy, institutional reform and sustainable development.

Shalom holds executive credentials from Harvard Kennedy School and Oxford’s Saïd Business School and brings experience across more than 20 African countries.
